Understand the basics
Vendor registration is the process through which an organization collects and reviews information about businesses interested in supplying its products or services. Major buyers in Saudi Arabia, such as Saudi Aramco, SABIC and Ma’aden, each run their own supplier portal and requirements.
Supplier pre-qualification goes a step further: it evaluates whether a business meets the requirements for a particular supplier category, service or product, based on technical, financial, quality, safety and other criteria.

Frequently asked questions
Saudi-based companies register through Aramco’s e-Marketplace platform. Aramco lists government documents (such as CR, Zakat, VAT and GOSI certificates and Chamber of Commerce membership) and Aramco-specific items, including a bank reference letter, ownership profile, authorized signatory letter and a Cybersecurity Compliance Certificate (CCC). We help you prepare and organize all of these.
Ma’aden registers suppliers through its own online supplier portal, which asks for company details, bank information, product or service categories, a supplier-type questionnaire and supporting documents such as your CR, Zakat, VAT and GOSI certificates. Its Supplier Relationship Management team then reviews the application.
With our Ma’aden fast-track service, approval typically comes within 8–10 days when your document pack is complete and accurate. We prepare and check every document before submission and respond to Ma’aden’s clarification requests the same day. The final decision is always Ma’aden’s.
